I also live near the bridge and this project has been going on for some 3 years to date....we rebuilt Europe after WW Ii in less time, the Army corps of engineers could have blown up this bridge and completely replaced it in less time. <br />Only in Massachusetts can such a project go so long. This project is a disgrace to the state but also impacts the entire south shore as well as Boston commuters.if you have watched the project up close and personal as i have for years, the laxk of actual man hours in the site, coupled with the State police overtime, no night work or overnight work done whatsoever and No or minimal community meetings throughout this debacle, or if there were meetings they were purposely not communicated to residents in the North Quincy area....all combine to make this entire project a joke, actually worse - a travesty against all taxpayers of the state and in particular taxpayers of the North Quincy neighborhoods directly impacted by the stain of a project.dan tnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2711238745091398200.post-63602866893813427242012-03-06T12:07:55.758-08:002012-03-06T12:07:55.758-08:00Then by all means leave. You of all people whould appreciate how nice the bridge looks, and how useful it would be for you to bike right across onto the Pope J Paul Park. So impatient! It's always "me me me right now" for you people these days. By all mean dont renew your lease! I am happy for Quincy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2711238745091398200.post-9036393507706570042011-12-09T11:14:58.938-08:002011-12-09T11:14:58.938-08:00Interesting to read this blog about what's hap...Interesting to read this blog about what's happened in the past year or so with the neponset bridge project. I live at the seawind condos right at the start of the bridge. Every morning when I commute, I have to merge into traffic as soon I leave my parking garage. I would never imagine in all these years I would be stuck in traffic the instant I pull out of the driveway. I'm not going to stay in Quincy when my lease runs out. 13% real estate tax and a nightmare bridge. No thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
